Miss Katie Law – Principal
Katie has been studying performing arts for over 25 years and is a fully trained dance teacher. She trained at The Lee Academy of Dance
and Drama with Miss Donna Lee, studying classical dance, Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. She also studied Drama, Musical Theatre, Singing and Acrobatics and gained many recognised qualifications in these subjects. She then followed the BTDA teacher training programme, beginning as a student teacher at the age of 14 and progressing to being the head teacher at the school. While at The Lee Academy, she was able to take part in school shows and had many performance opportunities including Mardi Gras, Disney Land Paris, Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Royal Albert Hall. Throughout her time as a dancer, Miss Katie has also choreographed routines for many musical theatre performances and even a music video.
Though she has a love for dancing and performing, teaching has always been her dream. Now Miss Katie is a primary school teacher at a school in Coventry and also runs the Flare in-school dance programme. This includes teaching curriculum PE lessons and hosting extra curricular activities in dance and drama.
