Feet First Dance Academy is a dance school based at Nathaniel Newton Infant School in Hartshill. Our classes are structured to incorporate three ‘core’ subjects: Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. These subjects complement each other to create a well-balanced learning programme for our students. Our classes also include aspects of Acrobatics, Drama and Musical Theatre. Children come to dance lessons for many different reasons, and we aim to accommodate all children whether they are looking for formal qualifications, to make new friends or just wanting to learn and have fun. We believe that first class teaching should be available for everyone, and though the emphasis in our classes is fun, you can be confident that your child is receiving the very best in performing arts training.
Feet First Dance Academy is a registered British Theatre Dance Association school. We offer formal accredited qualifications that meet graded qualification alliance standards, however it is not compulsory for students to take these examinations. We have a 100% pass rate for all BTDA examinations taken.
